Halloween is here and so is my desire to buy anything and everything spooky. You can’t send me into a store that has Halloween decor, because I will get lost in that section and I’ll come out forgetting what I originally needed. So, it is no surprise here that I already have a Halloween decor wishlist started.
I wish every season of the year had as many home decor options as the last 4 months of the year. Nothing makes me happier than how my home looks during the fall and holiday seasons. Decorations everywhere, it feels so warm and comforting.
And I know spring and summer decorations exist. I even have some. But nobody can tell me that spring and summer home decor comes anywhere close to the level of Halloween and Christmas. I won’t believe you.
So, in an attempt to seize every chance I get to be happy and to have a little bit of serotonin, I go a little crazy when Halloween decor comes out in stores. I no longer have room for all of the decorations I own. It’s a problem. I could have worse problems though, so I accept it.
This year, because of COVID and general anxiety, I have been doing a lot of my shopping online. I have found that Amazon has a fantastic selection of Halloween decor. I have found so many adorable pieces, and I wanted to share them with you today.

1. Bat Wall Decor
“It’s freakin’ bats… I love Halloween”
I am utterly obsessed with these adorable bats that you can stick all over the walls of your home. These can turn any room into a spooky paradise, and they are waterproof too! I love how subtle this decoration is. And also how versatile. You can add 1 or 100 bats to your wall, depending on what you want, and you decide on their configuration.

2. Lace Fabric Accents and Spiderwebs
Clearly, I am in the mood for gothic, fashionable decor. This 5-pack of fabric accents will add a dark and spooky touch to any room in your house. These would pair wonderfully with the bats to create the perfect Halloween ambiance. Use this in your everyday decor, or during your next Halloween party. And the best part? This set actually comes with its own spooky bats! You’ll have even more bats to put up around your home.

3. Halloween Tree
I personally have this Halloween tree, and it is my absolute favorite piece of Halloween decor to pull out each year. Over the past couple of years, I have slowly collected spooky ornaments and tinsel to wrap around, it is a wonderful addition to my decor. The best part is that it is pre-lit with small orange bulbs. This Halloween tree adds the perfect amount of ambiance to my Halloween movie marathons.

4. Halloween Gnomes
As I mentioned in my Autumnal home decor post, I love gnomes all year long. So of course I am obsessed with these Halloween-themed gnomes that are the perfect size to hang on my Halloween tree. I love how each gnome has its own little character and costume. These have to be the most adorable things I have ever seen.

5. Halloween Throw Pillows and Coasters
I love how Amazon knows exactly what I need before I even know I needed it. I was simply looking for some adorable Halloween throw pillows to add to my collection when I come across this set that includes both throw pillows and coasters! Now I need both of them. This set is absolutely darling, with the bright oranges and spooky pumpkins, it would add the perfect touch to my living space. I definitely didn’t know I needed seasonal coasters but now I’m getting so many ideas. Christmas coasters anyone?

6. Mini Jack-o-Lantern Pails
Do you remember going trick-or-treating when you were a kid, and using those plastic jack-o-lantern pails that got super heavy by the end of the night? That was an essential part of Halloween when I was a kid. Until I got a little older of course and started using a pillowcase or tote bag so I could fit more candy. Anyway, these tiny jack-o-lantern pails are the cutest thing I have ever seen. They would look adorable spread around my home, or even hanging on my Halloween tree.

7. Skeleton Door Mat
Currently obsessed with this adorable skeleton welcome mat. This would bring some more gothic vibes to my Halloween decorations. I love anything with skeletons on it, year-round, so this might not get put away once November hits. Halloween is a state of being, not a time of year!

8. Hanging Ghosts
To fully complete my spooky home, I want to add some outside Halloween decorations. However, I’m not a huge fan of the super scary decorations outside. As a kid, I would skip the houses that were too scary because I didn’t want to approach them. So now, I like to fill the outside of my home with fun and cute Halloween decorations, like these spooky ghosts. Although they have mean faces, they are small, the perfect size to float over my porch without creeping anyone out.

9. Jack-o-Lantern String Lights
I love when there is an ambiance in a room, especially when I am trying to have a movie marathon, or enjoying a spooky book. So these adorable jack-o-lantern string lights are perfect for that. These include a remote control, with a variety of settings. You can make the string of lights twinkle, fade, or stay on, which makes them perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.

10. Cofin Message Board
I have always loved the look of these message boards, I have one on my bookshelf with my favorite bookish quotes. So this adorable message board in the shape of a coffin is definitely on my Halloween decor wishlist. Imagine all of the spooky Halloween quotes you could put on the board. This would also be great if you are planning a Halloween party! Also, this definitely fits the gothic vibe I have been talking about throughout this post.

Oh, how I wish I wasn’t trying to save money or I would buy every single thing on this list. But alas, I will have to settle for only a few of them.
I wish it could be Halloween year-round. Like I could move to Halloweentown from Disney and have jack-o-lanterns as my primary home decor option. But alas, I live in the real world and must settle for a couple of months out of the year.
But I am also starting to get pretty excited for Christmas. There is a lot of nostalgia that comes with that holiday, and I always feel good that time of year!
