Autumnal Home Decor Wishlist

When fall comes around, all I want to do is surround myself with everything and anything fall. Deep oranges and bright reds fill my room during the months of October and November. One of my favorite activities during this season is going to any home store and walking around, searching for all the new and adorable Autumnal home decor. Put a pumpkin spice latté in my hand, and you have one happy girl.

However, as the holidays get closer, I am also trying to save money wherever I can. So, instead of going into T.J. Max or Homegoods and spending over one hundred dollars easily, I simply dream. Instead of buying all the adorable and Autumnal home decor, I add it to a wishlist, where I can dream of having it, and the money stays in my wallet until I’m richer and can buy whatever I want… A girl can dream!

The best part about making a wishlist is that I can change my mind at any time, without spending money. If I decide I hate anything on this list, no harm done. All of these items are from Amazon, where you can find a bunch of cheap and adorable decorations. Making an Autumnal home decor wishlist might not be as fun as walking through a home store, but it still gives me that small bit of retail therapy that I need right now.

1. Fall Colored Duvet Cover

Starting off big, I have always had a dream of owning a different comforter/duvet cover for every season. A warm fall-colored one, a pastel spring/summer one, and an adorable winter-themed one. I know I’ve made it when I can finally afford to have a change of comforter with the change of season.

This beautiful pumpkin orange duvet cover from Amazon is the perfect color for a fall-decorated bedroom. I immediately added it to my wishlist. This would add the perfect accent to the other fall decorations I already have spread around my room. Also, my bedroom has a lot of pastels and whites, so this duvet cover would warm it up nicely, and get it ready for Autumn.

2. Velvet Artificial Pumpkins

Staying with the color theme, these adorable velvet pumpkins from Amazon would look amazing spread around my room, on my bookcases, dresser, and desk. These would accent my current fall decorations nicely. I absolutely love the color scheme of this set from Amazon, and the velvet would give it an elegant touch.

3. Adorable Autumnal Pillowcases

I have a slight obsession with gnomes. So, when I saw this adorable set of pillowcases from Amazon, they immediately went on my wishlist. I already have some throw pillow inserts that I use in my home, but you can get these from Amazon here. These would make any couch a bit warmer and the illustrations are so cute.

4. Fall Leave Lighted Garland

Just to add a little light to my room, this adorable pumpkin and leaf garland is perfect. I have three tall bookcases in my bedroom that I love to decorate with small pumpkins and other small decor items during the holidays. I think these adorable lights would be the perfect addition to go around my bookcases. These would also be really nice to turn on while I watch a fall movie to add some nice Autumnal ambiance.

5. Autumnal Wreath

I think this Autumnal wreath would look fantastic on my front door. I absolutely love the colors of this wreath. They are much more muted than you usually see in fall decor, but it still has the pumpkins and leaves which scream Autumn. It would be such a subtle and elegant addition to my outdoor decor.

6. Pumpkin Kitchen Hand Towels

For the kitchen, these cute hand towels would look fantastic hanging on my oven. It’s hard to add a lot of Autumnal home decor to the kitchen, with all the cooking and cleaning that happens in there. So these small accent towels would add a little pop of color and the adorable pumpkins are perfect for fall. Plus, I am a huge fan of anything pumpkin spice, so these are perfect for me.

7. Fall Colored Pom Pom Garland

Another garland I have always wanted is a pom pom garland. I have been thinking about buying one of these for years, I love the aesthetic it brings to any room. I also love the colors of this garland, I would probably keep it up year-round. They also make pom pom garlands in adorable Christmas colors with candy canes, which I will definitely be adding to my Christmas wishlist.

8. Autumnal Tree

Christmas tree? Halloween tree? Why can’t there be a fall tree? This adorable miniature fall tree is absolutely gorgeous. This would look lovely on my dining table, surrounded by the small velvet pumpkins I mentioned above. Or it would also look good outside too, to add some abience as I’m reading a book, or spending time with my family in our back yard.

9. Fall Doormat

I don’t welcome a lot of visitors to my home… I’m an introvert… but I do love this Autumnal doormat with big orange pumpkins. This particular doormat from Amazon comes in a ton of different designs, so you can choose your door mat based on the aesthetic of your home. It can greet all the delivery people bringing all my packages this holiday season from my obsessive online shopping!

10. Autumnal Gnomes

As I said, I love gnomes. All year, and in every season, I love gnomes. So of course these adorable fall-themed gnomes are on my Autumnal home decor wishlist. They are kind of dorky, but I love them all the same. Cheesy home decor is something the best.

I absolutely love the colors of Autumnal home decor. The deep oranges, reds, and yellows are so calming and warm, they make my home feel so good once it is finally decorated. It especially feels good when the weather is cool, as it feels welcoming and warm inside. I will be honest with you though, I have already started peaking at the Christmas decor options, I’m a little excited to transition into those decorations after Halloween is over.
