Yesterday I created a list of everything spooky, mysterious, or cozy to watch on Amazon Prime Video this fall. Today I am continuing that series by talking about my recommendations from Hulu.

One of my favorite things a streaming service can do during any holiday is creating a playlist of shows that follows that theme. This year, Hulu created a playlist called “Huluween” with anything spooky enough to be considered during a Halloween watch party.

I love this section. Whenever I am in the mood for something to watch, I enjoy browsing through it, finding new things to watch that I would have never known about. Sometimes I even select my show or movie at random. I always seem to find something fun and unique, and something I have never watched before.

But there is a lot on this list. It can look a little intimidating at first. So, I am here to clear the fog. I want to give a list of the shows and movies I actually recommend from this list. These are the ones I watched throughout October and found enjoyable one way or another.

Some of the recommendations on this list are beautifully filmed and acted stories with interesting plot lines. And some are so bad that it’s good. Do you know what I mean?

My viewing tastes are pretty open when it comes to my spooky entertainment, so there should be something on this list for everyone. I am going to include a brief, bullet point list of why I recommend it. This will be an easy-to-browse list so you can pick the perfect thing to watch on Halloween without spending too much time reading my lengthy descriptions.

There is so much more on Hulu that I haven’t gotten the chance to watch, and I will be updating this list as I do. I love that I can include both scary and family-friendly suggestions to this list. My favorite thing to do is to switch off between scary and non-scary content so that I don’t get too spooked.

With Halloween coming closer, I am already starting to think about after. A whole year after in fact. Can you imagine how amazing the spooky entertainment will be next year if this year was already so good? Streaming services are putting out multiple new things each year, plus traditional film networks putting out their own stuff. We are going to be loaded with so much! I can’t wait.
